About the Therapist

Shauntel Morales

Counsellor / Therapist, Art Psychotherapy

Verified Expert

I’m an HCPC-registered Art Psychotherapist offering a warm, conversational and collaborative approach to therapy. I support adults navigating anxiety, stress, trauma, life transitions, relationship difficulties, identity, self-esteem, and feeling overwhelmed or stuck. My approach is trauma-informed, person-centred and integrative, which means therapy is shaped around you rather than expecting you to fit into one particular method. I offer both traditional talking therapy and creative approaches, depending on what feels most comfortable and useful for you. You do not need to be artistic or use art in our sessions. Art therapy simply gives us another way to explore experiences that may sometimes be difficult to put into words. Above all, I aim to create a space where you can feel genuinely heard, safe and never judged. We can explore what you are carrying at your own pace and work toward greater understanding, emotional wellbeing and meaningful change. I offer therapy in English and Spanish.

Why I host this workshop: to make evidence-based mental health skills feel simple, humane, and usable in real life.

What This Workshop Covers

What does it mean to feel enough?

Our sense of self-worth is shaped by our experiences, relationships, cultural backgrounds, and the expectations placed upon us. But how often do we stop to explore what being enough actually means to us?

The Art of Being Enough is a 90-minute interactive workshop that invites participants to explore self-worth, identity, and self-compassion through creative expression and guided reflection.

Facilitated by an HCPC-registered Art Psychotherapist, this workshop combines psychological insights with accessible art-based activities to encourage self-discovery and meaningful reflection.

What to expect:

Explore how personal experiences and cultural expectations influence self-worth.

Engage in a guided creative activity exploring identity and self-perception.

Reflect on the relationship between your authentic self and external expectations.

Learn practical approaches to developing self-compassion.

Participate in optional group discussions and connect with different perspectives.

No artistic experience is necessary. All you need is paper and your preferred drawing materials.

This workshop welcomes adults from all cultural backgrounds and encourages curiosity, openness, and respect for different experiences.

Come as you are. Create without judgment. Discover what being enough means to you.

This is an educational and creative wellbeing workshop, not a substitute for psychotherapy or individualized mental health treatment.
